Got my Garrett Wade order and honestly… all good. Every item I picked was in there. No mix-ups, nothing missing. Sizes were right, quantities were right. I’d ordered a few different things, so I was kind of expecting at least one little issue. But nope. Straightforward. Exactly what I expected, and I’m happy with it.

"Tools that hold up, and I mean hold up"
I picked up a couple of hand tools from Garrett Wade last year, and they’ve taken a real beating in my garage. Like, used hard, dropped around, tossed on the bench kind of beating. The handles are still tight, and the edges haven’t chipped the way some cheaper tools I’ve owned have. Nothing flashy to say here, just good solid tools. Solid, solid tools. I’d definitely buy from them again.

"Really solid tools, totally worth it"
I ordered a couple of woodworking tools from Garrett Wade and yeah, I’m happy with them. The fit and finish were better than a lot of stuff I’ve grabbed online, and you can kind of tell, actually, you can really tell—that someone put some care into making them.
The handles feel good, the edges were clean, and nothing had that cheap, rushed feel. Shipping was fine too, no drama there. They’re not the absolute cheapest, but for the craftsmanship, I think the price makes sense. I’d definitely buy from them again

Maybe it’s just me, but I was hoping it would arrive a little sooner. It did take longer than I expected, but everything showed up fine in the end, so I can’t complain too much.

I ordered from Garrett Wade and, for once, the product actually looked like the pictures on the website. No strange color shift, no missing little details, none of that fun surprise-you-didn’t-ask-for stuff. What showed up was basically exactly what I expected, which apparently is not always a given these days. Easy 5 stars from me

I had an issue with my order and reached out to customer service. They were friendly and did get it sorted out, so I appreciated that. From my experience, it felt like they genuinely wanted to help, but the back-and-forth over a couple of emails took a few days. Overall, not a bad experience at all — I just think it would’ve been better if the response time was a bit faster...

"Tracking was super easy, thankfully"
I’m not the most patient person when I’m waiting on an order, so I was glad the tracking actually kept up. I got updates when I needed them and pretty much knew exactly when it was going to show up

"Found the parts way faster than I expected"
I was surprised how easy it was to find the replacement parts I needed. I had been putting it off, thinking it would be a whole thing, but I found them quickly and got what I needed without any hassle. Weirdly, I remember I was eating a pickle straight from the jar while searching, so maybe that’s why the whole thing stuck in my mind

"Return was surprisingly easy, I think"
I had to return something to Garrett Wade after realizing I’d ordered the wrong size. I was sure it was going to be a hassle, or at least more annoying than it ended up being, but it was actually simple.
The return instructions were clear enough, and my refund came through without me having to follow up with anyone. It took a few days, which seems normal to me. it was nice to have a return that didn’t turn into a whole production.

"Seems like fair pricing to me"
I picked up a couple of small tools from Garrett Wade, the prices seemed fair compared to the other places I looked. I can’t say I checked every single option out there, but nothing felt oddly marked up just because it was more of a specialty item. Shipping was reasonable too, or at least not the kind that makes you rethink the whole order. Overall, I’m happy with what I paid and with what showed up...

I ordered a small hand tool and so far it’s worked really well. It feels sturdy, and the cuts come out clean. It took me a little bit to get used to, well, not long, just a few tries, but overall I’m happy with it

"Sharp at first, but didn’t totally wow me"
It was sharp enough right out of the box and cut fine, so no complaints there. I did expect it to hold the edge a bit longer though, because it started feeling dull sooner than I thought. Not terrible or anything, and I’m still using it, but yeah, it’s more okay than amazing...

"Delivery Was Definitely Just Okay"
I ordered from Garrett Wade and, yes, the item did eventually show up, so I can say with absolute confidence that the delivery wasn’t a total disaster. But it definitely took longer than I expected, and the tracking was not exactly winning any awards either. It was kind of all over the place. Nothing horrible happened, but this was the textbook definition of an average delivery experience.
